Reapers Get Past Philadelphia for 1-0 Win
Fans of the Grim Reapers who packed the stands for the home opener were rewarded with a Grim win over the visiting Philadelphia Liberty U-24, 1-0. Osman Hoti started for the home team against Chad May. Chad May earned accolades for his performance. Mike Parkinson, credited with the win, is now 1-0. He allowed no runs on no hits in 1 innings.

Grim got a knockout punch from Marcus Holmes. The center fielder hammered a solo home run in the bottom of the ninth inning to win the game. It might've been his only hit, but it decided the outcome.

Holmes said this kind of win gives the team "a buzz."
