Yinzers Come Up Short at Grand Forks, 3-2
The Grand Forks Caterpillars topped the Monroeville Yinzers, 3-2, in USSL Single A action at The Cocoon. The standout performance belonged to Grand Forks pitcher and Bolingbrook, Illinois, native Len Horton. Auno Toivola sewed up the save, his 2nd. The loss puts Monroeville at 0-2.

Juan Peña cracked a home run off Jing-yu Xiao in the bottom of the sixth. His 2-run blast put the Caterpillars on top, 3-2. In all, Peña had 1 single in addition to the home run, while going 2 for 3.

"It's nice to deliver when your team's counting on you," said Peña.
