Huntington pitcher Miguel López did his part in helping his team beat the Holy City Herons, 10-0. The right-hander kept opposing batters from doing too much damage. The winner was López. He threw 7.0 innings of shutout ball. The loser was Juan Carlos Vargas. With the loss, Holy City sinks to 1-1.

The Hermit Crabs got an important contribution from third baseman Chris Cook, who in the bottom of the second hit a fastball to right for a bases-clearing double. It was his 1st double of the season and put the Hermit Crabs ahead, 4-0.

"Miguel was really good, wasn't he?" said Huntington manager Vincent Cruz.
