The Delmarva Gallos topped the Pontiac Godfathers, 10-5, in USSL Single A action at The Cage. The game was highlighted by the performance of Delmarva pitcher Ted Elkins. Lex Boon collected his 1st save. With the win, Delmarva is 2-1.

In the bottom of the fifth, with Delmarva trailing 3-2, Eduardo Mendoza hit a slider from Jim Lambert for a 2-run single, giving the Gallos the lead, 4-3.

"Ted made his pitches," said Delmarva manager John Moore.
