The Herons earned a hard-fought, 4-3 win in 10 innings at Liberty Youth Field. To do so required withstanding a fine effort from Philadelphia pitcher Carlos Huertas. Huertas went 9 innings and allowed 4 runs. Jeff Cust picked up the win in relief, improving his record to 1-0. Carlos Huertas was tagged with the loss. The win has Holy City at 3-1.

Holy City used the timely hitting of Brad Skinner to seize the win. The pinch hitter stroked a run-scoring single in the top of the tenth inning to put the Herons on top, 3-2. It was his only hit in 1 at-bat, but it was a game-changer.

"We found a way to get it done," Skinner said.
