Led by Bartolo Flores, the Monroeville Yinzers downed the Yucca Valley Yellows, 7-5. Flores went 2-4 with a home run and a walk, while adding 3 RBI and scoring once for the Yinzers. Sterling Reece locked down his 1st save. The win takes Monroeville to 2-2.

Flores had a big at-bat with runners on 1st and 2nd in the bottom of the first inning, when he hit a 3-run home run. The Yinzers went on to win.

"I'm just trying to make good contact," said Flores, "one at-bat at a time."
