Reapers Saddle Godfathers with 5-2 Loss
|
Grim pitcher Graeme Boucher had a large part in his team beating the Pontiac Godfathers, 5-2. The right-hander kept opposing batters in check throughout the game. With the win, Grim lifts its record to 3-2.
In the bottom of the sixth, Allen Hale delivered a clutch hit. With two gone and runners on 1st and 3rd, the Grim center fielder hit a run-scoring single, putting the Reapers in front, 5-2.
After the game, Grim manager Arnold Magowan applauded the team's effort. "We put some good AB's together," he said.
