Yucca Valley turned a good performance from starting pitcher Francisco García into a 5-2 triumph over the Monroeville Yinzers at Dragoons War Memorial Stadium. Daniel Valdés recorded the save, his 1st. The win gives Yucca Valley a record of 3-2.

The Yellows got a gift in the top of the ninth inning, when they were leading 3-2. With two out and the bases loaded, Kel Horton reached on an error by the 3B, driving in 2 runs. It made the score 5-2, Yucca Valley.

"Enjoyed this one," Horton told the Yucca Valley Daily News. "But it's back to work tomorrow."
