The Grim Reapers topped the Monroeville Yinzers, 8-4, with youngster Ken Butler playing a key role. Butler went 2-5 with a home run. He drove in 4 runs and scored once for the Reapers in the win. Walt Cardosa, who is rated as the 19th best prospect by BNN, was the winner. He's now 1-1. The loser was Aquilino Meléndez. Arturo Martínez recorded his 1st save for Grim.

In the top of the third, Butler had a 3-run home run for Grim. It was his 2nd home run of the season and put the Reapers on top, 5-4.

"We'll grab a cold beverage tonight and go after another win tomorrow," Butler said.

The win gives the Reapers a record of 3-3.
