Toshiki Matsushita pitched well, but his team, the Levittown Blue Dragons, still dropped a 4-3 decision to the Pontiac Godfathers at Pontiac Copperdome. Pontiac has a record of 3-3.

Pontiac took the lead in the bottom of the sixth. With no one out and runners on 1st and 2nd, Kobbe van Houwelingen stroked a run-scoring single to make it 4-3, Godfathers.

After the game, Pontiac manager Allen Yohemas applauded the team's effort. "They busted their humps out there," he said.
