The Huntington Hermit Crabs converted a terrific effort from starter Miguel López into a win over the Pontiac Godfathers at Pontiac Copperdome. The Hermit Crabs won the game by a final score of 1-0. Derek MacIntosh picked up his 2nd save of the season. The win gives the Hermit Crabs a record of 3-4.

López confounded Pontiac hitters. Over 8 innings, he allowed no runs on 3 hits.
