Walleye Come Back Late to Clip Yinzers

Walla Walla and Monroeville duked it out and the Walleye came out victorious.
In a tight game between the Walla Walla Walleye and the Monroeville Yinzers, pitcher Rich Long was terrific on the mound. The Walla Walla right-hander helped his team to the 2-1 win. With the loss, Monroeville falls to 2-6.
Walla Walla took the lead, 2-1, on Herb Jones's 1st home run of the season. The 2-run home run came off Monroeville pitcher Abraham Catron in the bottom of the eighth.
"I felt good. I felt like I was locating the ball well and I was able to keep them off-balance," said Long.
