The Monroeville Yinzers tallied a win at The Cocoon, throttling the Grand Forks Caterpillars, 5-1. Starting pitcher John Dodson was a big reason for his team's success. Harris Atteveld closed it out for Monroeville, earning his 1st save. The win takes Monroeville to 3-5.

Monroeville used a well-timed hit by Charles Brown to capture the win. The designated hitter socked a 2-run double in the top of the third inning to put the Yinzers ahead, 2-0. Though it was his only hit in 4 at-bats, it was important.

"We put a lot of pressure on ourselves," Brown told a Monroeville Chronicle reporter. "Sometimes we just need to relax."
