A good performance from second baseman Vincent Bordes helped the Philadelphia Liberty U-24 defeat the Holy City Herons, 5-4. Bordes was 3 for 4 with a triple, 2 singles, and a walk, while scoring 2 and driving in 2 for the Liberty U-24. The loss drops Holy City to 2-6.

Dan Cook was the walk-off hero for Philadelphia. With the game tied in the bottom of the ninth inning, the Liberty U-24 third baseman hit a dramatic run-scoring single to send the teams home.
