Both teams had their opportunities, but in the end, the Levittown Blue Dragons got the win.

The Levittown Blue Dragons beat the Walla Walla Walleye, 4-2. Levittown pitcher and Soto, Curaçao, native Flip Boele led the way. The loss drops Walla Walla to 7-2.

Levittown needed the clutch hitting of Lou McCaw to notch the win. The shortstop hammered a 3-run home run in the top of the eighth inning to put the Blue Dragons on top, 4-2. For the game, McCaw had 1 home run and 1 single in 4 at-bats.

"Bottom line," said Walla Walla skipper Félix Cruz, "we didn't play well enough to win."
