|
The Columbia River Rats racked up a win at Columbia Stadium, bumping off the Lake Erie Arryns, 5-4, in 10 innings. Glenn Larsen, who started for Columbia, pitched effectively for his team. Lake Erie is now 5-4.
The game was decided with one out in the bottom of the tenth. With Columbia trailing 4-3, Jeffrey Hull hit a fastball from Cecil Miller to left for a 2-run single. Just like that, the River Rats had a walk-off win.
"We did enough to win," said Hull.
