The Alaskan Bush Pilots picked up a win at Bush Pilots Park, downing the Monroeville Yinzers, 4-3. On the mound for Alaskan was right-hander Wilford Turner, who played a pivotal role in the win. Bryan Massey finished the game for Alaskan and earned his 3rd save. The victory makes Alaskan 7-3.

The Bush Pilots got a big at-bat from third baseman Jeff Godfrey. For the game, Godfrey was 1 for 4 with a home run. He drove in 3 runs and scored once. In the bottom of the fourth, with runners on 1st and 2nd, he stroked a 3-run home run. His 1st home run of the season gave Alaskan a 4-1 lead.
