In a low-scoring tilt between the Caldwell Chiefs and the Levittown Blue Dragons, 21-year old right-handed pitcher Luis Rea was the difference-maker. The Caldwell right-hander spearheaded the 3-2 win in 10 innings. Caldwell pitcher Gerardo Guillén got the win. He's now 2-0. Juan Sánchez was tagged with the loss. The Blue Dragons fall to 4-8 and continue their lackluster start in 2063.

The clutch at-bat came in the bottom of the tenth inning, when Caldwell second baseman José Valéncia, facing Juan Sánchez, had a run-scoring ground out. It gave the Chiefs the 3-2 win.

In postgame remarks, Rea said: "I'm proud of our guys, of their fight."
