Gallos Get Clutch Win Versus Grim
The Delmarva Gallos did just enough to nip the Grim Reapers, 7-6, in 11 innings. Delmarva left fielder Gerald Cooper, in particular, had a standout performance. The win went to Dave McIntyre in relief. His record improves to 1-0. Jeff MacFadden took the loss. The Reapers drop to 5-7, as their stumbling start to the 2062 season continues.

When he batted in the bottom of the 11th, José Barrón had a golden opportunity to change the game's outcome. Grim pitcher Jeff MacFadden was determined not to let him. But with one out, Barrón drew a walk, driving in 1 run -- and the Gallos had a suspense-filled triumph.

"We'll just keep our nose to the grindstone," Barrón told the Delmarva Daily News.
