The Myrtle Beach Seahawks defeated the Delmarva Gallos, 5-4, in USSL Single A action at Seahwaks Stadium. Myrtle Beach pitcher Kurt Hilas had a standout performance. Kaluka Ezekiela, 1-1, earned the win in relief. He allowed no runs on no hits in 2.1 innings. The Gallos, now 3-9, continue their sluggish start.

In the bottom of the sixth, Myrtle Beach catcher José Pinto put his team on top. With one out and a runner on 3rd, he hit his 1st home run of the year. Delmarva pitcher Lex Boon served it up. Just like that, the Seahawks were ahead, 5-4.

In postgame comments, Hilas told the Myrtle Beach Times: "Do people still doubt I give 100 percent?"
