The Delmarva Gallos picked up a win at The Cage, knocking off the Holy City Herons, 4-3, in 10 innings. On the mound for Delmarva was right-hander Dawson Bishop. He played a pivotal role in the triumph. Delmarva reliever Jared Jamison was the winner. His record is now 1-0. The losing pitcher was Tommy Alderdice. The Gallos with just their 4th win in 14 games, have played uninspired baseball so far.

The game-ending blow was delivered by Alan Peck in the bottom of the tenth. That's when he hit a run-scoring double off 22-year old right-handed pitcher Tommy Alderdice to win it for Delmarva and cause the home crowd to erupt in celebration.

"It's what good teams do, find a way to win," said Peck.
