Hobeaus Knocked Down for the Count by Yellows
The Yucca Valley Yellows met little resistance from the Smoky Mountain Hobeaus, beating them, 12-3, at Smokies Stadium. Luis Sánchez led the way. He was 3-4 with a home run, a double, and a walk, while scoring 3 runs for Yucca Valley. The winning pitcher was Chris von Kotze. He tossed 98 pitches over 8.2 innings, allowing 3 runs on 5 hits. The Yellows, with just their 4th win so far in 2063, have yet to catch fire.

Juan Guzmán put Yucca Valley in front, 4-0, when he hit a 2-run home run off Cisco Díaz in the top of the third. It was his 2nd home run of the season.
