Arryns Lose Again, 1-0, to Reapers
In a low-scoring affair between the Grim Reapers and the Lake Erie Arryns, pitcher Julien Parmentier was the difference between victory and defeat. The Grim right-hander earned accolades for his stellar performance in the 1-0 Reapers win. In 6 innings, Parmentier surrendered 3 hits, while striking out 5 and walking 3. He allowed no runs. The Arryns fall to 6-11.

The Arryns had been locked in a 0-0 tie with the Reapers going into the top of the sixth inning. That changed quickly when the 22-year old third baseman Christian Campbell came to the plate. Campbell hit a solo home run on a 2-2 fastball from Lake Erie hurler Jesse Simmons. It was Campbell's 3rd home run of the year.

"You can't get too high when things go well, or too low when things go bad. Right now, I'm just happy we got the win," Parmentier told the Grim Bulletin.
