Harris, Chiefs Get 5-2 Win
|
Caldwell pitcher Ron Harris did his part in helping his team beat the Washington Generals, 5-2. The right-hander kept opposing batters from doing too much damage. The Chiefs, now 14-5, have been sizzling early on.
Caldwell starter Ron Harris was a master of his craft. The right-hander allowed 1 run on 3 hits over 8 innings.
"Ron throwing strikes, pounding the zone, that is exactly what you want to see," said Caldwell manager Jorge Agramunt.
