Anderson Stars in 7-3 Herons Win
Al Anderson powered the Holy City Herons to a win over the Pontiac Godfathers. The final score was 7-3. The Holy City shortstop, who is tied for 4th in the SA in RBI with 13, was a force to be reckoned with. He banged out 2 extra-base hits, including 1 home run and 1 double. Holy City reliever Sean Gibson picked up the win, upping his record to 2-0. Raúl Santos absorbed the loss. The win elevated the Herons to 11-9.

Anderson had a game-changing home run in the top of the eighth. On a 1-2 circle change from Raúl Santos, he banged a grand slam home run to left-center, giving the Herons a 6-2 lead. It was the 4th home run of the year for Anderson.
