|
Bryan Miller, who is tied for 5th in the SA in innings pitched with 32.2, had a strong outing for the Philadelphia Liberty U-24 against the Grim Reapers at Liberty Youth Field. The right-hander was a big part of his team's 4-3 win. Reliever Ismael Díaz picked up the win. His record improves to 2-1. Kyle Warren took the loss. The Philadelphia win streak is now 3 games.
The clutch at-bat came in the bottom of the ninth inning, when Philadelphia shortstop Edward Hernández, facing Kyle Warren, had a run-scoring walk. It gave the Liberty U-24 the 4-3 win.
Hernández described the clubhouse as "kind of rowdy" after the game.
