The Delmarva Gallos stopped the Philadelphia Liberty U-24, 6-3, at The Cage. The Gallos got a big game from Roberto Álvarez, who went 2-5 with a home run, while adding 4 RBI and scoring once. Carlos Hana picked up the save for Delmarva, his 8th of the year. With the win, Delmarva pushed its record to 14-8.

With Delmarva leading 2-0 in the bottom of the fourth, Álvarez hit a fastball from Jacob Hewitt for a grand slam home run. It was his 6th home run of the season and put the Gallos ahead, 6-0.

"Every time you put a 'W' on the board is always good," said Álvarez.
