Herons Earn Clutch Win, 8-7
Herons fans were sent into a frenzy with a walk-off win.

The Holy City Herons wiggled past the Huntington Hermit Crabs, 8-7, at Mango Yard. The win was highlighted by the performance of Holy City center fielder José Castro. The win belonged to Mark Lee in relief. His record improves to 1-0. Derek MacIntosh took the loss for Huntington.

The Herons relied on third baseman Kiyonori Ine for the game-winning hit. And, in the bottom of the tenth, he delivered, hitting a run-scoring single to seal the deal.

"We refused to lose," said winning manager Ralph Horn.

At 13-10, the Herons are currently third in the Silver A.
