The Columbia River Rats extended their winning streak.

Columbia River Rats starter Luis Villarreal pitched his team past the Monroeville Yinzers, 4-0. Neil Smith earned save number 4 this season.

The River Rats got a big at-bat from third baseman Mark Harris, who in the top of the third hit a 2-run home run. It was his 4th home run of the season and put the River Rats on top, 2-0.

"This team keeps finding a way to win," said Columbia manager Bayram Tanaoglu.

With the victory, the River Rats record stands at 16-7.
