Busby Plays Big Role in Holy City Win
|
Kenny Busby never let Alameda get something going. The Holy City right-hander commanded his fastball in pitching the Herons to a 3-0 win. The save went to Tom Fleming, number 1 for him. The win makes Holy City 7-17, nothing to write home about.
Busby kept the Airmen under his thumb. He scattered 2 hits over 8 innings, while striking out 10. The right-hander upped his season record to 2-1.
"I like what I saw today," said Holy City manager Gilberto Chávez, "and I can't wait to get back out there and do it again."
