Yinzers Suffer 5-4 Road Loss
The 5-4 Grand Forks win over Monroeville was due in large part to Javier Romero. The Caterpillars pinch hitter was 1 for 1 with a home run, while adding 3 RBI and scoring once. Grand Forks reliever Jerry Fry picked up the win, raising his record to 2-0. Jing-yu Xiao was tagged with the loss. The Caterpillars raised their record to 10-15.

Romero had a timely hit for Grand Forks in the bottom of the seventh. With Grand Forks trailing 4-2, he turned a 2-1 fastball into a 3-run home run. It was his 2nd home run of the season, making it 5-4, Grand Forks.

"We'll kick back tonight, then get set for the next one," Romero said.
