Yinzers Suffer 7-3 Loss to Caterpillars
|
Grand Forks center fielder Kikila Holeka helped his team beat the Monroeville Yinzers, 7-3. Holeka went 1 for 4 for the Caterpillars. With the win, Grand Forks goes to 11-15, while the Yinzers fall to 8-18.
The game turned with two out in the bottom of the fourth. That's when Holeka hit a grand slam home run off Pete Costa. It propelled the Caterpillars into the lead, 6-2.
"We're trying to go out there and win games," Holeka told the Grand Forks Daily News, "and we played pretty well tonight."
