Chiefs Rally to Nose Past Myrtle Beach
The Caldwell Chiefs defeated the Myrtle Beach Seahawks, 4-3. Doing his part was center fielder Chia-ch'ing Chen, who went 4-5 with 2 home runs and a double. He drove in 4 runs and scored twice. The first-place Chiefs have a one-game lead in their division.

The game was still up for grabs in the bottom of the ninth. With two out, Chen hit a splitter from Michael Leach for a run-scoring single. The Chiefs, in dramatic fashion, had a walk-off win.

"Trying isn't good enough in this league," said Chen. "You've got to get results."
