The Yucca Valley Yellows knocked off the Grim Reapers, 4-2, in USSL Single A action at The Coffin. Yucca Valley pitcher and Novato, California, native Dave McBride had an outstanding performance. McBride went the distance for Yucca Valley. He gave up 2 runs on 8 hits.

Yucca Valley needed the clutch hitting of Blake Lee to seal the deal. The center fielder swatted a 2-run home run in the top of the ninth inning to put the Yellows on top, 4-2. For the game, Lee had 1 home run and 1 single in 4 at-bats.
