Yinzers Earn Late Win
In a tight tilt between the Monroeville Yinzers and the Huntington Hermit Crabs, John Dodson was the deciding factor. The Monroeville right-hander spearheaded the 2-1 win. Dodson, who is tied for 4th in the SA in complete games with 1, went the distance for Monroeville. He gave up 1 run on 5 hits. With the win, the Yinzers have a record of 15-14.

Batting in the bottom of the ninth, 20-year old first baseman Pete Zahut had a real shot to win the game. Huntington pitcher Derek MacIntosh was determined not to let it happen. But with two outs, Zahut hit a run-scoring single. The Yinzers had a walk-off triumph.

Zahut described the clubhouse as "kind of rowdy" after the game.
