The Delmarva Gallos picked up a win at Mango Yard, dropping the Holy City Herons, 4-3. Rickey Hicks was the difference-maker. The winner in relief was Jared Jamison. The right-hander allowed no runs on no hits in 1.2 innings. He now owns a record of 2-0. The Gallos go to 14-15, putting them 6th in the Silver A.

The game was at a stalemate until second baseman Luis González came to bat in the top of the 11th. Facing Holy City pitcher Kun Ec, he hit a first pitch fastball for a run-scoring single. It was a game-changer, putting Delmarva on top, 4-3.

"It's a satisfying feeling, to win like we did," said González.
