The Yucca Valley Yellows picked up a win at Ballpark of Yucca Valley, dropping the Pontiac Godfathers, 2-1, in 11 innings. Curt Pollock, who is tied for 6th in the SA in quality starts with 4, was the difference-maker. Yucca Valley, now 17-13, holds down third place in the Silver A.

The Yellows got a clutch hit from center fielder Juan Guzmán. In the bottom of the 11th, he delivered a run-scoring single to win the game for the Yellows.

"We were determined to pick up this win," said Guzmán.
