For the home crowd, it was a thrilling walk-off win.

Monroeville Yinzers starter Fernando Feliciano was in a rhythm all game. He led his team to a win over the Smoky Mountain Hobeaus, 3-2. The win went to Sterling Reece in relief. His record improves to 1-1. Gordon Taylor took the loss.

Christian McFarland was the walk-off hero for Monroeville. With the game tied in the bottom of the ninth inning, the Yinzers second baseman hit a dramatic run-scoring single to send the teams home.

"That's baseball," said Smoky Mountain manager Gianni Martin. "You're not always going to be hitting on all cylinders."
