The Grand Forks Caterpillars topped the Huntington Hermit Crabs, 2-1, in USSL Single A action at The Cocoon. The game was highlighted by the performance of Grand Forks pitcher Santiago García. García picked up the win for Grand Forks, going 6 innings. He gave up no runs on 5 hits. He now sports a record of 3-4. Mark Peterson collected his 10th save.

Contributing to the Grand Forks cause was Javier Romero. In the bottom of the seventh, the 21-year old left fielder had a run-scoring sacrifice fly. That made the score 2-0, the Caterpillars in front.

"We're not exactly playing great right now," said Vincent Cruz, the Huntington manager.
