Behind a solid performance from second baseman Manny Feliciano, the Columbia River Rats defeated the Pontiac Godfathers, 7-4. Feliciano went 3-5 with a home run and 2 singles, while adding 2 RBI and scoring once for the River Rats. Picking up his 6th save was 20-year old right-handed pitcher Tommy Woods. Columbia now sports a record of 24-16.

Columbia left fielder Ledvik Plichtov landed a blow when he belted a 2-run home run in the top of the fourth. It was his 4th home run of the season. With it, the River Rats took a 4-0 lead.

"It's nice to deliver when your team's counting on you," said Plichtov.
