Gallos right fielder Sam López put his stamp on his team's 4-1 win over the Myrtle Beach Seahawks. López was 2-3 with a home run and a walk, while adding 2 RBI and scoring once for Delmarva in the contest. Bong-ok Nae came out of the bullpen to earn the win. The right-hander allowed no runs on 3 hits in 4.1 innings. His record now stands at 1-3. With the win, the Gallos have a record of 22-20.

With Delmarva leading 1-0 in the bottom of the fourth, López came up to bat against Myrtle Beach pitcher Rich Nelson. López hit a changeup to right-center for a 2-run home run. His 7th home run of the season put the Gallos on top, 3-0.

López called the win a testament to his team's "tenacity."
