Grim Picks Up Another L
|
The 2062 season is getting uglier for Grim.
Yucca Valley Yellows pitcher Pedro Andrade was in top form, leading his team past the Grim Reapers, 4-1. Yucca Valley reliever Pedro Andrade got the win, raising his record to 1-0. Bob Foster was tagged with the loss. Pancho Lizalda got the save, the 5th for him this season.
One pivotal at-bat came in the top of the seventh with one out. With runners on 1st and 2nd and the Reapers trailing 4-1, Pedro Andrade needed to make a quality pitch. He threw a 0-1 fastball to retire Nathan Flores, who hit into a double play.
The losses continue to mount for Grim, which has now dropped 6 in a row.
