Patino Plays Big Role in Columbia Win
|
Columbia starter Lúcio Patino put the Washington offense in a vise grip. The right-hander relied heavily on his fastball in leading the River Rats to a 3-0 win. Eric Sims closed the game out for Columbia, earning his 2nd save. The wins continue to add up for Columbia. The latest makes it 8 in a row.
Patino confounded Washington hitters. Over 7.2 innings, he allowed no runs on 1 hit.
"Lúcio did a heck of a job," said Columbia manager Kevin McCoy.
