The Huntington Hermit Crabs defeated the Holy City Herons, 11-1. Shortstop Ekata Sasthi deserved a large share of the credit. Sasthi was 3-5 with a home run and a triple. He scored 2 times and drove in 4 for the Hermit Crabs. With the win over Holy City, the Hermit Crabs improved to 22-28.

In the first inning, Sasthi had a 2-run triple for Huntington. It was his 1st triple of the season and put the Hermit Crabs on top, 3-0.

Holy City manager Ralph Horn called the blowout loss "a real dud."
