Yinzers Take Down Hobeaus, 3-2
The Monroeville Yinzers and Smoky Mountain Hobeaus played an exciting game.

The Monroeville Yinzers had to overcome a good performance from Smoky Mountain pitcher Bob Bradley to claim a 3-2 win at Smokies Stadium. Bradley went 8 innings and allowed 1 run. Myung-woo Kang got credit for the win, improving to 3-1. He allowed no runs on 2 hits in 4.2 innings.

Monroeville used a timely hit from Chris Blanchard to get the win. The left fielder stroked a run-scoring double in the top of the 13th inning to put the Yinzers ahead, 3-2. It was his only hit in 6 at-bats, but it made an impact.

"Our team showed some spunk," said Blanchard.

The Yinzers have an impressive 33-19 record.
