Huntington pitcher Jeff Bean did his part in helping his team beat the Grand Forks Caterpillars, 3-0. The right-hander kept opposing batters from doing too much damage. The Hermit Crabs improved their record to 25-34 by beating Grand Forks.

Ekata Sasthi was 1-4 for Huntington. The 20-year old shortstop had a key at-bat in the top of the fourth. With one out and runners on 1st and 3rd, he broke a 0-0 tie with a run-scoring ground out off Auno Toivola. It was his 19th RBI of the season.

"We just try to have good at-bats, whether we're winning, losing, or tied," said Sasthi.
