Boosted by the 2-hit performance of Charlie Knott the Grand Forks Caterpillars defeated the Yucca Valley Yellows, 8-0. Cai-fei Teng, the winner, improved to 3-1. He held the Yellows to no runs on 4 hits over 6.2 innings, while striking out 6 and walking 2. Grand Forks, at 24-35, occupies 8th place in the Silver A.
