Hernández Finds Groove in 2-1 Yucca Valley Triumph
The Yucca Valley Yellows and Smoky Mountain Hobeaus put on a pitchers' duel.

The Yucca Valley Yellows eked out a 2-1 win versus the Smoky Mountain Hobeaus at Smokies Stadium. Nobody did more than pitcher Jesús Hernández. He was terrific. The loss makes Smoky Mountain 32-29.

Hernández gave Yucca Valley a solid start. The right-hander allowed 1 run on 7 hits over 9 innings.

"When Jesús is on, he can really move the ball around," said Yucca Valley manager Ernest Orr.
