The Monroeville Yinzers wiggled past the Levittown Blue Dragons, 4-3, at Dragoons War Memorial Stadium. The win was highlighted by the performance of Monroeville pitcher Lee Wood. Monroeville has now won 6 in a row.

The Yinzers got a clutch hit from third baseman Stu Kennedy. In the bottom of the tenth, he hit a run-scoring single to center, to win the game for the Yinzers.

"The key at this level is throwing strike one," said Wood. "Successful pitchers do it."
