3-2 Loss Extends Mancelona Losing Streak
|
Smoky Mountain pitcher Bubba Orr did his part in helping his team defeat the Mancelona Torch, 3-2. The opposition could never get too much going against the right-hander. Mancelona's current losing streak has reached 7 games.
James O'Neal, who is tied for 2nd in the SA in doubles with 14, had a direct impact on the outcome. O'Neal contributed a run-scoring ground out in the top of the seventh inning to put Smoky Mountain up, 3-0.
"When you have a good rhythm and good flow, it's nice to just go out there and pound the strike zone with confidence," said Orr.
