Yucca Valley designated hitter Fernando López had a 3-RBI performance, which helped his team down the Grim Reapers, 5-3. The Yellows, at 27-37, sit in 8th place in the Silver A.

Raúl Rojas had a big run-scoring triple for the Yellows in the bottom of the fifth inning. With Yucca Valley leading 2-1 and a runner on 1st, he got a fastball from 22-year old right-handed pitcher Matthew Hamm and swatted a triple to left-center. It was his 1st triple of the season, and more importantly, it put the Yellows ahead, 3-1.

López called the win "a team effort."
