Levittown turned a good effort from starter Myron Carter into a win over the Caldwell Chiefs at Pipers Ballpark. The Blue Dragons won the game, 3-1. Mario Salas got the save, the 14th for him this season. The Blue Dragons go to 25-42 with the win.
Levittown relied on the hitting of Lou McCaw to pick up the win. The shortstop ripped a run-scoring triple in the top of the first inning to put the Blue Dragons on top, 2-0. For the game, McCaw had 1 triple and 1 single in 4 at-bats.
"It was just a matter of executing," said Levittown manager Nees Bogermans.
