At Walleye Tank, the Walla Walla Walleye and Smoky Mountain Hobeaus were greeted by an enthusiastic crowd.

Smoky Mountain Hobeaus starter Albert Longoria pitched his team past the Walla Walla Walleye, 5-2. The win gives Smoky Mountain a season record of 37-31.

Smoky Mountain used the timely hitting of Bob McGinnity to seize the win. The pinch hitter stroked a run-scoring single in the top of the ninth inning to put the Hobeaus on top, 3-2. It was his only hit in 1 at-bat, but it was a game-changer.

"Our goal is to improve each and every day," McGinnity told the Smoky Mountain Chronicle.
