In a tension-filled contest between the Yucca Valley Yellows and the Grand Forks Caterpillars, pitcher Francisco García was superb. The Yucca Valley right-hander, who leads the SA in quality starts with 11, spearheaded his team's 2-0 win. The Yellows now own a record of 37-31.

García was in the zone, shutting down Grand Forks hitters over 6.1 innings. García, who threw 91 pitches, allowed no runs on 3 hits. He also tallied 9 punchouts.
